The Dixon City Council has approved an agreement with OSF HealthCare marking its commitment to providing care to low-income and uninsured patients.

Members of the Oregon High School Ag Construction class spent Friday, May 16, 2025, building a mini-food center at Dixon Public Library. The center will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people to take the food they need.
Trustees voted 4-1 to donate the building to the Polo Area Community Theatre following a presentation by Hart DuBois, a PACT board member, who outlined how the not-for-profit group planned to raise enough money to keep the building viable as a performance venue.
Many World War II artifacts will be on display, including tanks, trucks and cannons.
